— She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, located in Davie, Florida.

In 2002, former Governor Jeb Bush appointed Michelle to serve on the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), Construction Industry Licensing Board. She served on DBPR for eleven years and was reappointed by former Governor Charlie Christ. Michelle served as chairman of the board 2004-2005.
Michelle lives in Orlando and is an avid fan of the Florida Gators and Orlando City Soccer. She also enjoys skiing, scuba diving and fishing.
