An associate attorney with a diverse background in government affairs and defense litigation. Mike graduated with honors from Florida State Law School where he was a member of the Mock Trial team and served as a Legislative Intern for the Florida House of Representatives. Upon graduating law school, he joined the Florida House full time as an attorney for the Local & Federal Affairs Committee where he was responsible for analyzing local bills and insuring their compliance with the Florida Constitution. Later, Mike worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of St. Petersburg, where he was responsible for prosecuting code enforcement and nuisance matters, and advising various city committees, such as the City Pension Boards and the City Community Planning and Preservation Committee.
Prior to joining Bennett Legal Group, Mike concentrated his practice on products liability defense, primarily conducting regional discovery work for a Fortune 500 product manufacturer. Mike applies his unique blend of government and private experience to serve owners, businesses and construction industry professionals. Mike is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and the Middle District of Florida. He holds a B.A. degree with honors from the University of Florida.
In his free time, he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and mountain biking throughout the State of Florida – frequenting the Snowhill Trail near Orlando and the Munson Hills and Cadillac Trails near Tallahassee. Mike is also an avid Florida Gator, Tampa Bay Lighting, and Orlando City Soccer fan.
